Resume' of Founder

Mark Sievers is the founder of The Sievers Company, LLC and has an extensive and highly diversified career in both the corporate world and in private consulting practice. He has worked at the executive level for a succession of companies and has experience in M&A transactions, information technology, supply chain and product/concept development. His last corporate position was that of Chief Innovation Officer for the LJS/A&W division of YUM! BRANDS in Louisville, Kentucky which is the largest restaurant company in the world as measured by number of restaurants. This diversity of experience enables him to evaluate and add value to a business through a balanced and multi-functional perspective.

Mark's education includes:

--BS Accounting, University of Kentucky
--MBA in Finance, Xavier (OH) University
--Executive education courses at Harvard Business School and other institutions
--Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute -  Shrimp Aquaculture  

Additionally Mark has received extensive training through the Business Brokers Network, Kentucky real estate classes, etc.. A partial list of his professional certifications include:

Community

Mark is also very involved in his community. He currently serves as past President and current Board member Lexington Youth Lacrosse Association (LYLA) and is a former Board and Executive Committee member of Bluegrass Tomorrow.  In 2007  he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Restaurant Association and to the Editorial Advisory Board of the Kentucky Youth Sports Scene publication .  Additionally, he is a member of the Lexington Venture Club, Commerce Lexington, Board member of  the Kentucky Restaurant Association (KRA) , the University of Kentucky Alumni Association and UK Fellows Society. He also serves on the Advisory Council to the University of Kentucky 's Entrepreneurs Club.   Mark is also freelance writer and is a member of the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association whose membership spans 75 countries across the globe.   Mark is a member of CPAL  ( Commercial Property Associatiion of Lexington ) and the Mayor's Task Force on Downtown Entertainment Development in Lexington, Ky . 

 

Mark Sievers is also a part owner of Louisville based Brown Cullen NPS LLC which is signage and custom cast solutions company.   He is the company's representative member in the Bluegrass Turfgrass Council .
